This is (I think) version 5.0 of my website. A very simple HTML site with this domain went live on January 1/2, 2002 (on an Australian server, hence the time ambiguity). A more colorful and atrociously coded version soon followed, along with much too much disclosure about the site owner. Years of design and content tinkering have made the modest hosting fees worthwhile as a hobby, though the product, I admit, has always been subpar. The move to WordPress has been a step in the right direction, though tweaking themes can be maddening. I recently merged several Livejournal and WordPress.com blogs I had maintained for years into the current iteration, thus creating my most streamlined web presence yet.
Oh, about me? Well, there’s not much to say. I hope one day to marry into European nobility, à la Grace Kelly, so I can achieve my lifelong goal to compete in Eurovision.
